Standard Delivery           

Captain $500 per day or $50 per hour

Crew      $250 per day or $25 per hour

Training/Coaching          

$50 per hour, except in the case of an owner ride along/replacing crew. In the event that the owner would like to combine training and delivery, there will be a $100 daily fee. This is commonly done to accommodate insurance-required training, and the fee will cover any learning materials and extra time/focus required by the captain to assure an acceptable result.

Travel Pay           

Travel is billed at regular Captain/Crew rates from time that captain/crew leaves their home, until they arrive at the vessel, and vice versa. In most cases the travel day also includes inspection of the vessel and provisioning, resulting in a full day rate.

Travel Expenses              

The owner will be responsible for all travel expenses from the time that captain/crew leaves their home, until they reach the vessel, and vice versa. (i.e. Uber, Taxi, Shuttle, Mileage, Car Rental, Plane, Train, whatever makes the most sense, cost vs time)

Operating Expenses      

Marina fees, fuel, oil, filters, or any other necessary items will be estimated and added to the initial quote.

Other Expenses               

Any out of pocket expenses related to the vessel delivery, tips for marina dock hands, supplies or parts for your vessel, Uber/Taxi rides to pick up parts or supplies, etcetera, will be added to the final bill.

Weather or Mechanical Delay     

All efforts will be made to keep the vessel moving toward the goal of the arrival point, but some things are out of our control, boats break, and weather can change in an instant. In the event that the vessel must layover waiting on repair or weather to improve, the captain and crew will be paid at their regular rates, unless some other arrangement is made.

Number of Crew

In most cases, for safety, vessels will operate during daylight hours only and 1 Captain and 1 Crew member will be required. In the event that the vessel route requires overnight passages/24 hour operation, a minimum of 1 Captain and 2 Crew will be required.

Secure a Spot

To secure a spot on the calendar, a deposit of 25% will be required, with the full estimated payment paid at least 72 hours in advance of captain/crew travel day.

​

Final Payment

Any and all “Other Expenses” shall be paid before Captain/Crew relinquish control of the vessel.

​

Any possible refund from Stellar Captains to Owner will be made within 5 business days of the final delivery of the vessel.
